Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke on Trent

We work with victims of hate crime. People targeted because of a disability, their race, gender, age, religion or sexual orientation. Anyone who witnesses, or is a victim of such an incident can be referred to us.

We are supporting victims to get the solution they want, where possible. We encourage people to report incidents to the relevant authorities and we also record incidents ourselves so that we can evidence what types of hate crime and incidents are occurring, and the location etc. Only by working with other agencies (with the permission of the victim) can we work towards ending hate incidents and properly support victims who have been affected.
