The Beth Johnson Foundation has been providing specialist dementia advocacy since 1998. The Dementia Advocacy project provides advocacy for people aged 50+ living with dementia or waiting for a diagnosis.
The issues that advocates can help with are varied and often complex.
The service is free and there is no limit on the time we remain involved supporting clients. Anyone can refer to the project.
We offer a Dementia Advocacy Peer Support Group (DAPSG) facilitated by advocacy staff at the Beth Johnson Foundation. This group offers a space where people living with dementia can meet and support each other.
