NALA: free guides for what to do when someone dies

NALA is a free online guide to everything that has to be sorted out when someone dies. Registering the death, applying for probate, closing bank accounts, dealing with pensions, benefits and utilities, and settling the estate. We also cover grief and where to find support, and how to get your own affairs in order before you need to. Everything is written in plain English by a small UK team.

NALA is national rather than locally based, so Stoke-on-Trent residents can use it free, immediately, with no referral. For adults 18+, bereaved people and carers.
