One of the very first Enablement and Enrichment Services based in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting individuals to live their best lives possible – smashing barriers associated with disability and mental health! Our purpose is to enable you, to be more you!
We are proud to be a non-profit organisation, and to compliment some of the most well-respected national charities and care providers in the area. These include Alzheimer’s Research, Alzheimer’s UK, The Beth Johnson Foundation, The Dementia Society, North Staffs Carers, and more.
Here’s what we offer, at a fully transparent rate of £25 per hour (from Jan 2024).
Specialist Wellbeing Services in your own home, including befriending, nurturing life skills, supporting with appointments, helping with small home maintenance tasks, and gardening.
Enrichment; supporting individuals to access their community, embrace healthy routines including regular exercise, and visit local amenities & areas of interest.
Respite; either in your own home, or accompanying individuals and families on short breaks for an agreed set fee. This service is only available to clients undertaking a regular service for a minimum of 6 months.
Advocacy; supporting with letters, emails, telephone calls, attending meetings alongside you, or your loved one, to ensure your voice is heard and your needs are clearly communicated.
All staff are DBS checked, highly experienced, and appropriately trained & insured to provide support in the community. Rates are from £25 per hour + any expenses incurred whilst providing support. There are no long-term contracts, simply an agreement between all parties with a 4 week notice period.
