Alongside our one and two-week respite care options, we are able to offer an elderly day care package. Frequently caregivers may need a day away, whether this is for appointments, to support with general care, or otherwise. Our day care option gives the same quality care that our residents would normally receive, but on a short-term basis.
Alternatively, the receiver of care might be looking for a break themselves. One of the downsides to being cared for at home is that the social element of life can sometimes become lost. Coming into a new setting, even infrequently, can give added stimulation that wouldn’t have otherwise happened. This is an important part of our work.
