One-to-One Reading Coaching

Read Easy North Staffs is associated with Read Easy UK.

Our group was established in March 2021 to provide free one-to-one reading coaching for adults in North Staffordshire with reading difficulties.

All members of our group are volunteers. Our coaches are fully trained and each coach is paired with one reader, so that training can progress at the pace that best suits the reader. Training takes place in public buildings in locations close to the reader’s home, close to their place of work, or wherever they feel most comfortable.

Learning to read can be life-changing for people. It helps to build confidence, independence and a sense of wellbeing. Additionally, it may help them to develop their working career.
