Places of Welcome is a national network of free, weekly community drop ins offering a cuppa and companionship all year round in more than 700 locations across the UK; there’s an interactive locations map at www.placesofwelcome.org.uk.
Groups can be based anywhere where community members can meet. Locations include community centres, libraries, community gardens, theatres, sports clubs, bus stations and places of worship. Locally, Places of Welcome are supported by the Strengthening Communities team of the Diocese of Lichfield, and you can find our list of groups in Stoke at Stoke – on – Trent – Diocese of Lichfield (anglican.org).
