The Social Agency is an ongoing arts based support group for autistic adults and adults with mild learning disabilities.
The purpose of The Social Agency is to help people gain confidence, encourage them to come “out of their shells”, and to help them make new friends. It also gives people a chance to talk about any issues or problems they are experiencing in their lives.
The way we do this is by using different kinds of activity that include games, discussions, drama, and other arts-based processes. Refreshments are always available!
We meet once every fortnight and use a variety of arts activities as a way to help reduce participants’ social isolation and improve mental health and wellbeing.
The groups are free to attend but you will need to be able to make your own way there and back.
