About Trentham Brass Band
Welcome to Trentham Brass Band — a friendly, passionate and ambitious community brass band based in the heart of Staffordshire. With a proud history of performance and competition, we bring together musicians of all ages and abilities who share a love for brass band music and live entertainment.
Rehearsing at Longton Central Hall, our band performs throughout the year at concerts, festivals, community events, contests, fairs, carnivals and special occasions across the region. From traditional brass band classics and marches to modern pop hits, film music and upbeat audience favourites, we pride ourselves on delivering exciting performances that entertain audiences of all ages.
Alongside our main competing band, we also run a welcoming Community Band designed to encourage new, returning and developing players to enjoy the brass band experience in a supportive environment. Whether you are an experienced musician, a beginner, or someone looking to dust off an old instrument, there is a place for you at Trentham Brass Band.
As a registered charity, we are passionate about supporting local music, developing musicianship and keeping the tradition of brass bands alive within our community. We are always keen to welcome new members, supporters and performance opportunities.
