Adult Pottery Courses

This new course is a collaboration between WEA and British Ceramics Biennial. It will help you to express yourself using clay in a relaxed and fun group setting, working on a specific project.

You will develop hand-building techniques such as building with slabs, using a former to support the clay and joining clay together.
You will also learn about different ways of finishing and decorating your piece. You will learn about looking after the clay and explore how it changes. This course is suitable for beginners and people with some experience of working with clay.

The course is to be held online with free resources to be picked up from Spode Works.
